OUR STAFF
Our staff have been carefully selected from a wide range of backgrounds for their enthusiasm, professionalism and "Outdoor Adventure Experience". The majority of our staff are from all over Malaysia from as far away as Sabah to right here in Langkawi. Upon selection, they undergo extensive training for 6 months and then continue their personal self development throughout their time with the organisation.
We also have a strong representation of International staff who have travelled from all corners of the world to join Wilderness Malaysia and help promote the benefits of Outdoor Education. These staff come from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America and bring a wealth of knowledge from international programs around the world.
We offer exchange programs for our staff with other international outdoor organizations in South East Asia and Australia. Our staff gets the opportunity to experience different programs and gain knowledge and share ideas, which they bring back to Wilderness Malaysia to pass on to other collegues.
The comparison of our organization to outdoor educational standards worldwide is a continual process to refine and improve our programs. The diversity of our staff, and ongoing professional development, ensures that we are performing to the highest standard and are leading the way in safety, quality and performance in South East Asia's Outdoor Industry.
Wilderness Malaysia continual success is a reflection of the dedicated efforts, and quality training, of all of our staff.
